Imagine a clock that just got smashed by a hammer - bad.

You see all those little pieces scattered all around?

Now imagine, if you had to put all those pieces back together to get the clock working again. Would you?

Time Off

While it is a common cliche that time is gold, there ought to be a standard definition of what 'gold' really stands for. For some, it is the literal - gold just means monetary riches, not necessarily the element that it used to represent. To others, it is more hypothetical. Some would even go as far as philosophical, where knowledge will lead to that concept of 'gold'.

And while I do not disagree with any of those stated above, I believe we are all resigned to the fact that 'gold' can, in one way or another, refer to life itself. It can refer to health, and a good one at that. For what is the use of riches when we can't be there to enjoy it.

Next time you try and stress yourself out with all you're doing, take some time to lean back. Take a break, and take some time off. You might just need it. Who knows, maybe your idle hands might just be what's lacking in your next adventure.
